Timberline Ski Lodge is owned by the members of Timberline Ski Club and is a private ski lodge run by the members for the enjoyment of their families, friends, and invited guests.
The Timberline Ski Club was originally formed in 1948 and was one of the very earliest clubs to construct a lodge at Mt Buller. The original building was of simple construction reflecting the standards of the day.
 When the Mt Buller Committee of Management invited existing site holders to apply for a limited number of new beds, Timberline seized the opportunity to re-develop the site. The membership was expanded to its current limited level of 38 members and the new lodge built in 1985.

Mt Buller is the perfect place for a summer or winter holiday. In summer, enjoy bush walking, horse riding, tennis or relaxing in the clean, cool mountain air. Winter brings great skiing at the ski resort with the most extensive lift system in Australia, offering trails to suit every level of skier.
Driving to Mount Buller is easy; via Yarra Glen or Benalla, and on through
Mansfield, it takes only three hours on good sealed roads to reach the
mountain from Melbourne.
